Hi, I’m Pastor Dave and thanks for visiting the Grayling Evangelical Free Church website.  I’m very happy to be back in Northern Michigan.  I grew up here in Michigan, my growing up years were spent downstate in Dearborn.  After high school graduation I moved up to the Upper Peninsula to attend Michigan Tech and Northern Michigan quickly became home!  In 2004, I graduated from Michigan Tech with a degree in Electrical Engineering Technology. Shortly after that I moved to Deerfield, IL to attend seminary.  I sensed God calling me to become a pastor.  I attended seminary (pastor’s training school) at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and I completed my time there in December 2007.  I’m excited to be leading the start of  a new church here in Grayling!
